This customer was building a new home and is an avid bird watcher. Our goal was to create a landscape that would attract a large number of varieties of birds. Cover, feed and water were added to help this project be recognized by the City of Greeley and the Audubon Society as a wildlife friendly urban landscape. A water feature was design with a perch to watch for predators and a shallow wading area. Flowers were used that would attract migrating hummingbirds. Evergreens and brush piles were used as cover. This landscape has been easy to maintain and uses very little water. Over eighty species birds have been sighted on this small property.
