When your company gets to be old enough sometimes you get to redo a project.  Twenty years ago this was one of our premier projects but time was starting to make it look somewhat dated and tired.  the challenge was that the timber walls were well built and were going to be quite expensive to remove.  We decided to use the timbers as a base and stucco over them.  We did a stone overlay for the patio and steps.
