This is a difficult question to answer, since each project varies in scope and complexity. A simple design usually takes one week to turn around, while more detailed designs can take up to three or four weeks. After a contract is entered, we will provide a firm start date typically within a couple weeks.

Yes. Your designer will meet you at the nursery to tag the selected material for your project. We can also operate similarly for many of the other materials, like rock, mulch, etc. If you prefer, we will be happy to make the choices for you.

If we are contracted to perform the work, a portion of this design fee is credited toward the price of the construction. Yes. Our experienced designers can often give you an approximate budget from your verbal description. In order for us to provide an accurate estimate, many times a design is required. This process enables us to know exactly what we are giving you a price for. Therefore, we will need to design the project in order to prepare an exact estimate.
